I started my shop in 2011 with beaded and wirework fashion jewelry. At the time, I was also selling my jewelry in a local consigment shop. I soon realized that I loved making pieces by hand from start to finish instead of using premade components, so I decided to start from scratch and work with sterling silver and semiprecious stones. I'm always trying to learn new techniques because a) it's fun and b) life is all about learning and improving, right? I'm fortunate to have found a couple of great local metalsmiths as teachers.

I'm now also showing my jewelry at Wooden Stone Gallery in Davidson, North Carolina and at Winterfire Gallery in Winston-Salem. It's an exciting opportunity to meet other artists and also talk directly to jewelry lovers to find out what they're interested in.
